Do I need to register for a VAT number in Belgium?
1. If your company is established outside the EU (eg: China), whether you use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service or self-fulfillment (MFN), because Belgium does not currently have an Amazon FBA warehouse, unless you store your goods in Locally in Belgium, there is currently no need to register a VAT number in Belgium;
2. If your company is established in the EU and you do not store goods in Belgium, registration may be required if your sales exceed the new EU-wide distance selling threshold of €10,000 (shipping from another EU country) Local VAT number unless you have selected OSS in the EU eCommerce VAT package.
What language do I need to use to list on Amazon.com.be?
Amazon.com.be will be available in French, Dutch and English.
